Brummbachfall
The Brummbachfall is a 50 meter high waterfall at Linthal in the region Glarus Switzerland.
From the village Glarus it is a short drive over road 17 to Linthal. In Linthal take to exit to the Linthal Braunwaldvahn and park your car here (gps 46.928779, 9.001363). Probably you already can see a glimpse of the Brummbachfall from the roadside.
But I have seen pictures of the Brummbachfall from the base of the waterfall that looks very nice. Maybe a walk to the base will be nice. Take the Braunwaldbahn up to Braunwald. Tickets aren’t very expensive. From Braunwald there is path going up to the Brummbachfall. This is still a 2,5-3 kilometer walk (45-60 minutes?).
I think the Brummbachfall can turn into a wild roaring waterfall early in the season and after heavy rainfall. The river Brummbach has to find its way through a narrow gorge, so with a lot of water in the river the view becomes a spectacle.
