Cascade Oulettes d’Ossoue, is an unofficial named waterfall in the river Ossoue west of Gavarnie. Actually there are two unnamed waterfalls in the river Ossoue, but this one is often called Cascade Oulettes d’Ossoue.
Cascade Oulettes d’Ossoue can be find in Vallee d’Ossoue west of Gavarnie. From Gavarnie take road d128 to Barrage d’Ossoue for 8 kilometers. Park the car at the parking.
Start walking west along the lake over GR10 for 2 kilometers (30 minutes). Then you will come along Cascade Oulettes d’Ossoue at the right side of the trail.
Near the parking, high in the mountains at 2.000 meters, you can find another great waterfall Cascade de Tapou with a single drop of 40-50 meters. From the parking it is a short walk (on GR10 to the south) until you see Cascade de Tapou from a distance.
