Cascade de Tapou

Cascade de Tapou is 40 meter high waterfall near Barrage d’Ossoue west of Gavarnie in the French Pyrenees.

Cascade de Tapou can be find in Vallee d’Ossoue west of Gavarnie. From Gavarnie take road d128 to Barrage d’Ossoue for 8 kilometers until the road ends at a lake “Gave d’Oussoue”. Park the car at the parking (42.756862, -0.093971) and walk towards the dam. At your left side you can see cascade de Tapou.

It is possible to take a trail (for a short while) in the direction of Cabane de Lourdes which brings you nearer to Cascade de Tapou.
