Cascade Saint-Benoît

Cascade Saint-Benoît is a nice waterfall in the village of Avrieux in the region Haute-Savoie/Savoie, France.

From Chambery take road A43 towards Italy. Just before the border take the exit to La Norma and Avrieux. In Avrieux drive up the mountain to chapel Saint-Benoît. From her a trail leads you upstream along the river Ruisseau Saint-Benoît, in a few minutes time, to the gorgeous Cascade Saint-Benoît.

Cascade Saint-Benoît was for me an unknown waterfall, but one of great beauty. With a single drop of 90 meters also one of the bigger waterfalls in France and in some list of top 10 most beautiful waterfalls in France.

Cascade Saint-Benoît is easy to reach and lies in a beautiful environment. It is possible to swim/bade, so Cascade Saint-Benoît is also one of my favorite waterfalls in France and is situated in Parc national de la Vanoise, a beautiful region.
