Cascata da Peneda

Cascata da Peneda is a seasonal waterfall behind Santuario de Nossa in Peneda (Gavieira) in the region Viana do Castelo, Portugal.

Even if the waterfall isn’t visible, the complex of Santuario de Nossa (a sanctuary) is a visit worthwhile. There is a parking at the sanctuary with beautiful views on the surroundings (gps 41.974238, -8.222526).

The waterfall itself, Cascada da Peneda, is probably only visible after heavy rainfall.
