Cascata di Planaval

Cascata di Planaval is a waterfall with a height of 120 meters near Planaval (Arvier) in the region Valle d’Aosta, Italy.

From Arvier drive towards Valgrisenche over road SR25 until you reach Planaval. The waterfall Cascata di Planaval is visible from road SR25 and from the northside of the hamlet Planaval (gps 45.673918, 7.081654). It is possible to walk to the base of Cascata di Planaval from Planaval. The walk takes appr. 15 minutes.

In (early) summertime the waterfall is a tourist attraction and is then on its best.

The region of Valle d’Aosta is a great place for visiting waterfall. The biggest and tallest waterfall is Cascate del Rutor near La Thuile.
