Cascate di Calabritto

(Cascate di Bard’natore, Cascata del Tuorno)

Cascate di Calabritto (also named Cascata del Tuorno) is a nice 15 meter high waterfall, falling down over three stages. The waterfall is located west of the hamlet Calabritto, not that far from Naples, in the region Campania, Italy.

From Naples drive to Salerno, Battipaglia and at Contursi Terme take the exit to Oliveto Citra (SS691). Here take the SP25 to Senerchia and Calabritto.

The trail starts west of Calabritto. A narrow road leads to the trailhead at gps 40.783073, 15.193316. Here a path leads down into the valley and the river Zagarone. I am not sure if there are signs for Cascata del Tuorno but there is a description for the trail on Wikiloc.

On the way you pass another nice waterfall in the river Lupola (tribute river of the Zagarone river) called Cascate di Bard’natore.
