Glenevin waterfall

The Glenevin waterfall is located near Clonmany (Donegal) in the Republic of Ireland. 

The waterfall is located is the almost northern point of the Republic of Ireland and is easy to reach from Londonderry (Northern Ireland). When driving from Clonmany to Crossconnell you drive by the Glen House. There is a small parking along the road (gps 55.267388, -7.435526) where the trail to Glenevin starts.

The walk into the Glenevein Valley, to the Glenevin Waterfall, is well signed and can easy be found. A lot of people combine their walk with a picnic at the Glenevin waterfall. The walk is easy, takes 15-20 minutes and is 1 kilometer long.

The pool at the base of Glenevin waterfall is named Pohl-an-eas: the foam that lies on the surface of the pool or the ferment pool.
