Gschwender wasserfall

The Gschwender wasserfall is a waterfall near Gschwend (Immenstadt im Allgäu) in the region Bayern, Germany.

From Immenstadt im Allgäu drive to the grosser Alpsee. Just after the gasstation (at a big parking oon the right side of the road) turn left onto the Rieder Steige. After 1,5 kilometer there is a parking along the road. Park your car here, you have to pay for the parking!

In the right corner of the parking there are stairs going down to a viewpoint on the biggest drop in the river which is called the Gschwender wasserfall. The water drops down in three major steps over approximately 30 meter. Very nice to see when there is enough water in the river.

Actually there are several waterfalls in the (unnamed?) river. When walking back to the parking you also can walk a little upstream to another (smaller waterfall).
