Izvir Bohinjske Bistrice

Izvir Bohinjske Bistrice is a nice waterfall south of the hamlet Bohinjske Bistrice in the region Gorenjska – Radovljica, DSlovenia.

The trailhead seems hard to find but lies at a road named Majhnova ulica in Bohinjska Bistrica (gps 46.259236, 13.942931) but there are more point where you can start from. Parking is possible at the main street of Bohinjske Bistrice. The walk is appr. 4 kilometer (one way) with an ascend of 130 meter (75 min). You can take another trail back but that is longer. The river Bohinjske Bistrice is the strongest affluent of the Sava Bohinjka river and can become quite powerful after a rainy period. The waterfall is located near the source of the river.
