Mussbach wasserfall

The Mussbach wasserfall is a scenic set of cascades near Schneizlreuth in the region Bayern, Germany. The Mussbach is a river that drops down over 15 meter, not very high, but the surrounding is gorgeous and very photogenic.

The Mussbach wasserfall is an official named waterfall. The Mussbach wasserfall is located appr. 1 kilometer southwest of Schneizlreuth, along road B21 between Schneizlreuth and the Austrian border.

From the roadside there is a small trail going directly to the Mussbach wasserfall that you can reach in a few minutes. Park your car somewhere near the trailhead (gps 47.684605, 12.792893). Unfortunately we missed the waterfall because my gps on my mobile failed. I parked the car at the wrong point….

A little bit further, towards Melleck, you can see another waterfall in the river Mussbach, much higher, at the right side of the road. Here the river Mussbach drops down over 110 meter.
