Sendefossen

The Sendefossen is an unofficial named waterfall in the Myrkdalen, Hordaland, Norway. Driving on road 13 north of Myrkdalen there is a part of the road with many sharp curves where the road is ascending (Kvassdalen). Here you see the river Sendeeelvi (Sendo) falling down over 90 meter with great power.

From the roadside you will have a good view on this impressive waterfall, named Sendefossen. The Sendefossen is probably only visible in summertime.

Road 13 is closed here most of the year. I was here May 2015 and at Myrkdalen the road suddenly was closed. I didn’t pay much attention on a sign at the beginning of the exit. nevertheless, there was so many snow and the views where great, but I had to turn around.
