From a small lake Loch an Sguirr Mhoir in the hills above Talisker, the river Allt Mheididh finds it way to the Atlantic Ocean. At the end there is a 130 meter high cliff, creating an amazing waterfall.

The Talisker bay waterfall is one of the highest single drop waterfalls in the United Kingdom with a single drop of 130 meter.

Best time to visit the Talisker bay waterfall is after heavy rainfall when there is an overflow of Loch an Sguirr Mhoir that feeds the waterfall. In a dry period there is probably no water in the waterfall.
