There are over 30 worthwhile waterfalls in the Czech republic, but doesn’t have many huge waterfalls. I know there are many more waterfalls (over a hundred) but I never visited the country… Nevertheless, the Czech country is nice country with very beautiful sceneries. Almost all waterfalls in the Czech republic are located near the border with Poland. This is also the mountainous area. The Krkonoše range of the Sudetes is the main mountain region. The highest point in the country is the mountain Sněžka with a height of 1.603 meter.

Although it is a hilly country, there aren’t very tall waterfalls in the Czech republic. Most of the waterfalls in the Czech republic are located in the northern parts of the country. Especially in the region around Špindlerův Mlýn, on the border with Poland, there are some nice waterfalls. From the capital, Prague, it is a two hour drive to Špindlerův Mlýn. A perfect base for chasing the most beautiful waterfalls of the Czech republic.
The Czech republic is a cheap country, with delicious (and cheap) food. Also know for it’s beer (sorry Pilsener!). The Czech republic is definitely high on my list to go on holiday. Not only because of its waterfalls but especially because of its beautiful nature.
