Cascade de Rochecolombe
Cascade de Rochecolombe is a gorgeous and unique waterfall near the village of Rochecolombe (Saint-Maurice-d’Ardèche), in the region Rhone Alpes/Ardeche, France.
From Aubenas it is a short drive to Vogüé (D579) and a little further to Rochecolombe. When entering the village follow the sign “P – vieux village” (gps 44.519491, 4.437775). The view on the old village is amazing and in the background you almost can see Cascade de Rochecolombe. Walk towards the village but keep on following the river. There is also a trail going through the village, along the chapel, again back to the river.
I think it is a 20-30 minute walk to the base of Cascade de Rochecolombe. Unfortunately the Ardeche is a dry region and the waterfall should run dry a large part of the year.
The view on the waterfall from the upper part of Rochecolombe is also beautiful (gps 44.517347, 4.437585).
Cascade de Rochecolombe drops down over a cliff and ends appr 25 meters down on a big rock at a nice colored pool. Very beautiful to see, a guarantee for a nice picture.

Am I missing the photos on this waterfall? That was the point of the whole endeavour.
In that case, please add a picture to my post. I don’t have any…
