Cascade de la Peusse

Cascade de la Peusse is an unique shaped waterfall located east of Chantrans (Ornans) in the region Doubs, France. The waterfall is easy to access and is unknown for many tourists.

There are several long hikes starting from Ornans that go to Cascade de la Peusse, but you also can park your car near the waterfall. There is no official parking but there are some spot along the small road that runs from Chantrans to Cascade de la Peusse. The trailhead (and possible parking) lies at gps 47.064381, 6.169809. From here it is only a 5 minute walk following the path that descend to the river Vau Norbey.

Although it isn’t a very tall waterfall, I think approximately 5 meters, I like it very much. I have seen just a few waterfalls that are shaped like Cascade de la Peusse. I really want to go there next time when I am in the region.
